MSL U.S. Appoints Stephanie DeViteri to Lead Health Practice

DeViteri will drive growth for the practice with a focus on the pharma, devices, hospitals and consumer health brand sectors.

MSL U.S. announced today the appointment of industry veteran Stephanie DeViteri as Managing Director of its Health practice. DeViteri will drive growth for the practice with a focus on the pharma, devices, hospitals and consumer health brand sectors.

DeViteri joins MSL after close to 20 years at Evoke Kyne, a healthcare-focused firm where she most recently served as Head of North America responsible for driving business retention, growth and employee engagement across the continent. DeViteri built her career at the agency, partnering with some of its largest pharma and biotech clients to deliver award-winning, industry-first programs for people living with chronic and life-threatening diseases. During her tenure as managing director of the agency’s Philadelphia office, the agency’s largest U.S. office, DeViteri more than doubled the office’s revenue and team while sustaining a high retention rate of both team and clients.

“With all the transformation that will come in the healthcare space in the next decade, finding the right leader to guide MSL and our clients’ growth was critical. Stephanie, of course, brings a wealth of expertise in integrated health communications. But more than that, she brings a deep passion for reimagining the healthcare experience for all and improving the way brands connect with health consumers. That passion meshes perfectly with our belief that every health brand can be a positive force of influence in the world and the communities they serve,” said Lisa Talbot, Chief Client Officer, MSL U.S.

"I was drawn to MSL because of its people – their passion for their clients and each other and their proven ability to deliver breakthrough programming really resonated with me,” said DeViteri. “I am driven to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives and am energized by the potential to build a different kind of healthcare offering – one that meets consumers where they are in their health journeys, pushes boundaries and helps clients imagine new possibilities. Being surrounded by experts at MSL who know how consumers think, what they feel and how to engage them in new ways will fuel my mission to bring healthcare communications to the next level.”

With a deep-rooted passion to empower people living with chronic and life-altering conditions to feel informed, valued and heard, DeViteri has worked across the pharmaceutical, biotech and consumer health sectors. She has led industry-defining and award-winning campaigns for clients such as Johnson & Johnson, Janssen, Pfizer, Sanofi, Ferring, Eisai and Reckitt and supported multiple therapeutic areas including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, pain management, medical dermatology, reproductive health, cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, oncology, mental health, and infectious diseases and vaccines.

DeViteri was named a Rising Star by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association and a PharmaVOICE 100 honoree. She also received PRSA Philadelphia’s Maxine Elkin Award for Distinguished Service, honoring public relations professionals who demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of the profession. DeViteri will join the agency’s Executive Team and report to MSL U.S. Chief Client Officer, Lisa Talbot.
