MSL is a Top U.S. PR Agency for LGBTQ Equality

Scores 100 Percent in Corporate Equality Index for Sixth Consecutive Year

New York – March 27, 2019 – Once again, MSL U.S. earned a perfect 100 percent score in the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.  MSL joins the ranks of 560 major U.S. businesses which also earned top marks this year, including seven other Publicis agencies and solutions hubs, Digitas, Leo Burnett, Publicis, Publicis Media, Re:Sources, Saatchi & Saatchi and Publicis Sapient.

Because of its perfect score, MSL achieved the designation as a “Best Place to Work” for LGBTQ Equality. In 2013, MSL became the first large PR agency to achieve a perfect score on the survey in its own name.

“MSL’s commitment to workplace diversity and inclusion powers our culture, fuels our thinking and inspires our work. We are proud of our status as a front-runner for being a top employer of choice for LGBTQ employees,” said Alina Diaz, Chief Strategy Officer, MSL U.S., who is responsible for Diversity and Inclusion.

The Corporate Equality Index has become the gold standard for LGBTQ workplace equality.

The 2019 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. MSL’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria resulted in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is the educational arm of America's largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer people. HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are embraced as full members of society at home, at work and in every community.
