March 3, 2021 -- Publicis Groupe today announced the appointment of Eddi Yang, General Manager - MSL Beijing, and Liza Zhang, General Manager - MSL Shanghai and Guangzhou to strengthen MSL’s business growth strategy in China and the Asia-Pacific. The new positions entail ownership and supervision of business operations for MSL in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai.
The new appointments will also help strengthen Publicis Groupe’s integrated service offerings in public relations and influencer management using the Power of One.
Eddi Yang has more than 20 years of experience in communications, marketing and corporate affairs and has worked with some of the largest global and local brands across sectors. Before MSL, she served as the Director of External Affairs - Mead Johnson, China, and as Vice President and General Manager - Golin Harris, Beijing. She has also held management positions in several global leading organizations such as Ketchum, Ruderfin, and Ogilvy. Eddi will report to Oliver Xu, CEO - Publicis Communications, Beijing, and Margaret Key, CEO – APAC & MEA, MSL.
Liza Zhang carries more than 15 years of experience and has built core expertise in areas such as corporate branding and reputation management, business communications, internal corporate communications, and change management. Her clients range widely from traditional manufacturing to consumer goods, healthcare and medical services to technology companies, professional services firms, and government. She was also responsible for leading MSL’s transformation into a business-driven strategic communications consultancy. Liza will report to Arto Hampartsoumian, Managing Partner and Executive Chairman - Publicis Groupe China, and Margaret Key, CEO – APAC & MEA, MSL.
