According to Renee Wilson, president of MSLGROUP North America, Winkler is a significant addition to the agency network.  "Shellie Winkler is among the industry's top advisors in the corporate communications and health categories with tremendous industry experience.  She is the ideal person to ensure that we share best practices, talent and ideas across both our corporate and health businesses.  This is particularly important now as our health business has evolved to include a much larger focus on corporate health communications."

"To be relevant to our clients, we need to stay ahead of the evolution that is occurring in our industry and across the world of business.  I look forward to leading an active dialogue with the great talent across MSLGROUP North America about how to look at client business in innovative ways," said Winkler.

Over the course of her career, Winkler has served in a wide array of top industry roles.  At Edelman, she led the firm's corporate communications offering and also served as the senior corporate communications counselor for health clients.  She directed a large and diverse team across a wide variety of industries that, in addition to health, included consumer packaged goods, financial services, manufacturing, professional services and retail for clients such as Dannon, GE healthymagination, Johnson & Johnson, Merck and MeadWestvaco (MWV).

While at Edelman, she created, championed and advanced inventive operating and client service approaches that drove her group's effectiveness and business growth.  Winkler also has the reputation as a highly engaged leader, a builder of strong culture and a champion of staff.
