MSL London appoints former Sony Ericsson Head of Global External Communications as new Director of Technology

London,March 9, 2012: MSL London, part of MSLGROUP, today announced the appointment of former Sony Ericsson Head of Global External Communications, Merran Wrigley, as Director of Technology.

Merran will report to George Godsal, MD of MSL London's Corporate team, and will play a key role in building MSL's UK technology practice and extending interaction with technology leaders in the MSLGROUP network. Her recruitment coincides with MSLGROUP's acquisition of boutique healthcare and technology PR consultancy Schwartz Communications, which further strengthens MSL London's technology practice with the addition of technology PR specialists Annie Baker, Associate Director, and Deepika Bharadwa, Account Director.

Merran joins MSL London from Cisco Systems services business and brings 15 years of global consumer and B2B technology PR experience across corporate, product and consumer PR. She spent several years building the global communications function at Sony Ericsson and previously worked at Sony Corporation's HQ in Tokyo as part of Sony Group's global communications team providing PR support for a number of global Sony businesses including consumer electronics, robots, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate PR.
