MSLGROUP Agencies and Be-Linked Join Forces to Offer Consultancy Support in France and Brazil, in Run-up to Rio 2012 Earth Summit
Paris, 3 October 2011: Eight months before the United Nation's 'Rio +20' Earth Summit, MSLGROUP's agencies in France and Brazil have joined forces with Be-Linked, a specialist consultancy for civil society groups and companies, to offer strategic advice and operational support to international businesses and organisations involved in Rio +20.
A cross-agency team from Publicis Consultants and Be-Linked (France) and Andreoli MSL (Brazil) will offer three specific areas of support:
Monitoring & Analysis:
- Mapping of a body's national and international stakeholders
- Monitoring of changes in positions of international and local stakeholders, NGOs, social actors and economic actors
- Monitoring of major events and highlights in the run up to Rio +20
Strategic Consulting:
- Helping to shape strategy, positioning and speeches
- Strengthening a company's commitment to CSR to meet stakeholders' expectations, and be in line with the ISO 26000 standard
- Advising on how to manage relations with NGOs and social entrepreneurs
- Advising around communicating commitments and results
Operational Support in France/Brazil:
- Media relations / international public relations before and during the summit
- Ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and stakeholder sessions
- Events: organizing meetings, seminars, exhibitions and press conferences during the summit
Point of note:Earlier this year with the support of Publicis Consultants, France's multiple-stakeholder sustainability body 'Comite 21' - founded shortly after the original Rio summit in 1992 to implement sustainabile development in France - launched the "Club France RIO 20" initiative, to ensure the involvement and influence of key French actors at Rio +20.
